About Us
SEASHOREKIDS is a Marine Environmental Education organisation and aims to make Marine Biology accessible to children of all ages.
We offer interactive, 'hands-on' classroom-based workshops & field trips to schools & organisations in the Dublin and Wicklow areas.
SEASHOREKIDS is led by Mona McCrea, an experienced Marine Zoologist and Environmental Scientist. Mona is passionate about the marine environment and offers a fun learning environment where children can explore and discover Ireland's seashore flora and fauna. Children can put down their books and computers, put on their wellies and get outdoors.
Our clients include schools, youth and sailing clubs, tidy towns, private groups and County Councils.
SEASHOREKIDS is delighted to be the Outreach Centre for schools in Dublin and Wicklow with the Marine Institute's EXPLORERS EDUCATION PROGRAMME.
Mona is delighted to be a Marine Heritage Specialist for The Heritage Council's, HERITAGE IN SCHOOLS SCHEME.
